These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by Colour Analysis Luxembourg, owned and operated by Melanie Reuter ("Colour Analysis Luxembourg", "we", "our", or "us"). By booking an appointment through our website or by any other booking method, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Colour Analysis Luxembourg provides professional colour analysis and related image consulting services in Luxembourg.

2. Scope of Services

Colour Analysis Luxembourg offers professional image consulting services, including but not limited to:

  • Individual Colour Analysis

  • Colour Analysis for Two People

  • Colour Analysis for Three People

  • Follow-up Consultations

  • Online Consultations

  • Gift Vouchers

  • Mini Colour Analysis sessions during events

  • Future image consulting services, including styling, body analysis and personal shopping, where available.

A detailed description of each service, pricing and availability is provided on our website.

All services are provided with reasonable care, professional expertise and according to the methodology used by Colour Analysis Luxembourg.

3. Acceptance of these Terms

By booking an appointment, purchasing a gift voucher or using our services, you confirm that:

  • you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions;

  • you have read our Privacy Notice;

  • you are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian;

  • the information you provide during the booking process is accurate and complete.

These Terms apply to every booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Booking Process

Appointments can be booked through our official booking platform or another booking method made available by Colour Analysis Luxembourg.

A booking is only confirmed once:

  • the required booking information has been provided;

  • the required payment or deposit has been successfully received; and

  • you receive a booking confirmation by email.

Please check that your email address is correct when booking. If you do not receive your confirmation within a reasonable time, please contact us.

Colour Analysis Luxembourg reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking where this is reasonably necessary, including in cases of payment failure, incorrect booking information, suspected fraudulent activity or circumstances beyond our control. Where payment has already been made, any refundable amount will be returned.

5. Prices, Payment & Deposits

All prices are displayed in Euro (€).

Prices shown at the time of booking are the applicable prices for your appointment.

Colour Analysis Luxembourg reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Any price changes will not affect appointments that have already been confirmed.

Deposits

Unless stated otherwise during booking:

  • Individual, Duo and Trio Colour Analysis appointments require a €50 deposit to secure the booking. The deposit is non-refundable except where otherwise required by applicable law.

  • Online Follow-up Consultations and gift vouchers must be paid in full at the time of booking.

The remaining balance for appointments requiring a deposit is payable at the appointment unless otherwise agreed.

Accepted payment methods may include Stripe, Payconiq, cash or any other payment methods offered during booking.

If a payment cannot be processed, Colour Analysis Luxembourg may cancel the booking until payment has been successfully received.

6. Rescheduling, Cancellation & Refunds

We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.

Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Each booking may be rescheduled a maximum of three (3) times. After the third reschedule, the booking will be cancelled and any deposit paid will be forfeited. A new booking will require a new deposit.

Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation by the Client

Appointments cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will not incur any additional cancellation charges. The €50 deposit is non-refundable, but it may be transferred to a new appointment if you choose to reschedule, subject to availability.

Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment, or where the client does not attend without prior notice, are considered a late cancellation or no-show. In these cases:

  • The €50 deposit will be retained and is non-refundable.

  • The deposit cannot be transferred to a new appointment.

  • Colour Analysis Luxembourg reserves the right to require full payment in advance for future bookings.

These cancellation terms apply subject to any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.

Cancellation by Colour Analysis Luxembourg

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to illness, emergencies or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where this happens, you will be offered either:

  • a new appointment date; or

  • a full refund of any amount already paid.

Colour Analysis Luxembourg shall not be responsible for additional costs incurred by the client, such as travel expenses, accommodation or loss of earnings.

7. Late Arrival & No-Shows

If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened in order to respect the following appointments. The full appointment fee will still apply.

If you are significantly late and there is insufficient time to complete the service, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation.

Clients who do not attend their appointment without prior notice ("No-Show") forfeit any deposit paid.

Repeated late arrivals or no-shows may result in Colour Analysis Luxembourg declining future bookings.

8. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible experience, clients agree to:

  • provide accurate booking information;

  • inform us of any relevant allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions that could affect the appointment;

  • follow any preparation instructions provided before the session;

  • behave respectfully towards the consultant and other clients.

Clients will receive preparation instructions in their booking confirmation email before their appointment. To ensure the most accurate colour analysis, clients are expected to follow these instructions as closely as possible.

Failure to follow the preparation instructions may affect the accuracy of the colour analysis. In such cases, Colour Analysis Luxembourg cannot guarantee optimal results.

Clients remain responsible for their personal belongings throughout the appointment.

9. Professional Advice & Results

Colour Analysis is a professional image consulting service based on the internationally recognised methodology of the International Image Institute (III). Recommendations are provided using professional draping techniques, specialised training, and the consultant's expertise, including completion of the Colour Analysis Mastery Training with the International Image Institute.

The outcome of a colour analysis is determined through an in-person assessment using professional colour drapes under appropriate lighting conditions. While every analysis is carried out with the highest level of care and according to the III methodology, the appearance of colours may vary depending on factors such as lighting conditions, digital screens, printing methods and surrounding colours.

The recommendations provided are intended to help clients identify the colours that are most harmonious for them according to the III colour analysis system. Clients remain free to wear any colours they choose and make their own personal style decisions.

Colour analysis is a professional assessment and involves an element of professional judgement. The result or recommendations may not correspond to the client's personal expectations or preferences. A difference of opinion regarding the colour season or recommendations does not, by itself, constitute a failure to provide the service.

Colour Analysis Luxembourg does not guarantee any specific personal, professional or commercial outcome resulting from the implementation of the recommendations provided.

10. Health & Safety

Clients participate in appointments at their own discretion.

If you have any allergies, skin sensitivities or medical conditions that may affect your appointment, please inform us before your session.

If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness (such as a fever, flu, COVID-19, or a stomach virus), we kindly ask that you do not attend your appointment. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss rescheduling your session in accordance with our rescheduling policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All materials created and provided by Colour Analysis Luxembourg remain the intellectual property of Colour Analysis Luxembourg unless otherwise stated.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • colour analysis results;

  • digital or printed colour palettes;

  • personalised reports and guides;

  • photographs created by Colour Analysis Luxembourg;

  • website content;

  • branding, logos and graphics.

These materials are provided for your personal use only.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, sell or commercially use any materials without our prior written permission.

12. Photography & Social Media

During the booking process, you may choose whether you consent to being photographed or filmed for social media or marketing purposes.

Your choice is entirely voluntary and will not affect the quality of your appointment.

If you give your consent, Colour Analysis Luxembourg may use photographs and videos taken during your appointment on its website, social media channels and other promotional materials.

You may withdraw your consent at any time before the content has been published by contacting us.

Photographs and videos will never be used for marketing purposes without your prior consent.

For more information about how photographs, videos and other personal data are collected, stored and processed, as well as your rights regarding your personal data, please refer to our Privacy Notice.

13. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers:

  • are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • are valid for the specific service stated on the voucher and cannot be exchanged for another service;

  • remain valid for that specific service even if the price of the service changes after the voucher was purchased;

  • do not require any additional payment from the voucher holder if the price of the specified service increases after the voucher was purchased.

14. Limitation of Liability

Colour Analysis Luxembourg performs all services with reasonable care, skill and professional diligence.

To the maximum extent permitted by Luxembourg law, Colour Analysis Luxembourg shall not be liable for:

  • personal decisions made by clients based on the recommendations provided;

  • dissatisfaction arising from individual preferences or subjective opinions;

  • indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, business opportunities or profits;

  • delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including illness, accidents, severe weather, public authority measures or other force majeure events.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under applicable law.

15. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our services, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so that we can attempt to resolve the matter promptly and fairly.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within five (5) business days and provide a substantive response as soon as reasonably possible.

16. Governing Law & Final Provisions

These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or from services provided by Colour Analysis Luxembourg shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Luxembourg, unless mandatory consumer protection legislation provides otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any mandatory rights or protections granted to consumers under applicable Luxembourg or European Union law.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply in full.

Colour Analysis Luxembourg may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of booking shall apply to your booking.
